Pawan Kalyan meddles with every department of his film or that is what popularly believed in film circles and music is no exception. The disaster called "Johnny" and followed by a tragedy named "Gudumba Shanker", are perfect examples of his alleged interference. Mani Sharma is no exception as these numbers indicate. There is over use of orchestra and unnecessary infusion of rap tunes into several numbers.
The tunes are old and stale except the first song "Inthe Inthinthe". Inthe Inthinthe - This one is melodious loaded with bits of foot tapping beats and Kay Kay does justice to it. Keyboards by the musician himself make the difference to the tune. "Lokale Gelavaga" reminds the number from "Okkadu", if not the entire tune at least the use of orchestra. "Athi Metthani" has influence of some western beats and sounds okey. Neelo Jarige - Where is the need for infusing rap into a number of Hariharan. He is talented enough to carry the song with his intoxicating voice and range. The musician should have avoided the overused infusion of rap in the songs. It is no more a variety. They only destroy the melody now and steals whatever the originality the score has. Hut Hutja - It was "Made in Andhra student" in Tammudu and " I am an Indian" in the film Kushi. Pawan Kalyan's fetish for using the state and country in songs seems to have spread to Hyderabad now. This number, which is a mix of Hindi and English lyrics has projecting the hero as an Hyderabadi. One can visualise the picturisation listening to the number. Kannu Kottina - This one is no different from the deluge of Telugu numbers coming from Udit Narayan's voice. You don't need to be a musician to create this one as you can hum the song and it comes on the expected lines. You will be reminded of hundreds of Telugu songs listening to this. The only difference would be the lyrics.
